Ne\u0159\u00edk\u00e1 nic o tom, kde je tuk ulo\u017een. A u\u017e v\u016fbec nevypov\u00edd\u00e1 o skute\u010dn\u00e9m metabolick\u00e9m zdrav\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1678\" data-end=\"1701\">Prohl\u00e9dn\u011bte si fotky dvou mu\u017e\u016f v \u00favodu \u010dl\u00e1nku:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1703\" data-end=\"1761\">\n<li data-section-id=\"1gh6is1\" data-start=\"1703\" data-end=\"1722\">oba m\u011b\u0159\u00ed 180 cm<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"yxietd\" data-start=\"1723\" data-end=\"1741\">oba v\u00e1\u017e\u00ed 94 kg<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"ezy3uq\" data-start=\"1742\" data-end=\"1761\">oba maj\u00ed BMI 29<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1763\" data-end=\"1794\">T\u00edm ale jejich podobnost kon\u010d\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1796\" data-end=\"1938\">Prvn\u00ed mu\u017e m\u00e1 p\u0159ibli\u017en\u011b 12 % t\u011blesn\u00e9ho tuku a obvod pasu 90 cm. Jeho t\u011blo je tvo\u0159eno p\u0159ev\u00e1\u017en\u011b svalovou hmotou a jeho zdravotn\u00ed riziko je n\u00edzk\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1940\" data-end=\"2102\">Druh\u00fd mu\u017e m\u00e1 naopak asi 26 % tuku a obvod pasu 110 cm. Tuk se v jeho p\u0159\u00edpad\u011b ukl\u00e1d\u00e1 p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm v oblasti b\u0159icha, co\u017e je spojeno s v\u00fdrazn\u011b vy\u0161\u0161\u00edm rizikem civiliza\u010dn\u00edch onemocn\u011bn\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"763\" data-end=\"955\">Svaly maj\u00ed toti\u017e vy\u0161\u0161\u00ed hustotu ne\u017e tuk. \u010clov\u011bk s vy\u0161\u0161\u00edm pod\u00edlem svalov\u00e9 hmoty tak m\u016f\u017ee v\u00e1\u017eit stejn\u011b jako \u010dlov\u011bk s vy\u0161\u0161\u00edm pod\u00edlem tuku, ale p\u0159itom zab\u00edrat m\u00e9n\u011b prostoru a m\u00edt v\u00fdrazn\u011b odli\u0161nou postavu.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1034\" data-end=\"1075\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.medpagetoday.com\/opinion\/second-opinions\/101296\">A pr\u00e1v\u011b tento rozd\u00edl BMI v\u016fbec nezachyt\u00ed.<\/a><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2159\" data-end=\"2199\"><strong data-start=\"2159\" data-end=\"2199\">Mezi uveden\u00fdmi dv\u011bma extr\u00e9my najdeme samoz\u0159ejm\u011b mnoho typ\u016f postav, kter\u00e9 nebudou a\u017e tak jednozna\u010dn\u00e9.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4 data-section-id=\"1l7uiw7\" data-start=\"2543\" data-end=\"2577\">Pro\u010d se tedy BMI st\u00e1le pou\u017e\u00edv\u00e1?<\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"2579\" data-end=\"2654\">Odpov\u011b\u010f je jednoduch\u00e1: proto\u017ee funguje \u2014 ale jen v ur\u010dit\u00e9m kontextu.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2656\" data-end=\"2857\">Na \u00farovni populac\u00ed je BMI velmi u\u017eite\u010dn\u00fd n\u00e1stroj. Umo\u017e\u0148uje sledovat popula\u010dn\u00ed trendy a porovn\u00e1vat skupiny lid\u00ed v klinick\u00fdch studi\u00edch. Je jednoduch\u00fd a nic nestoj\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2859\" data-end=\"2899\">Pro jednotlivce je ale <a href=\"https:\/\/med.stanford.edu\/news\/insights\/2024\/11\/bmi-body-mass-index-alternatives-science.html?\">pouze orienta\u010dn\u00ed<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2901\" data-end=\"3037\"><strong>Probl\u00e9m nast\u00e1v\u00e1 ve chv\u00edli, kdy se z n\u011bj stane jedin\u00fd ukazatel zdrav\u00ed.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4 data-section-id=\"ywv23y\" data-start=\"559\" data-end=\"585\">Co vlastn\u011b je BMI ?<\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"1258\" data-end=\"1575\">Ukazatel BMI nevznikl jako zdravotn\u00ed n\u00e1stroj. Jeho autorem byl belgick\u00fd statistik Adolphe Quetelet, kter\u00fd v 19. stolet\u00ed zkoumal pr\u016fm\u011brn\u00e9ho \u010dlov\u011bka a hledal matematick\u00e9 z\u00e1konitosti v populaci.
